Job Description
Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing submarine combat systems for the US and Royal Australian Navies. As a Network Technician for Tactical Control Systems, you will support the design and maintenance of network architecture, ensuring the highest quality software is delivered.
Responsibilities
* Support design and maintain submarine combat system network architecture.
* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls.
* Implement and manage network protocols such as OSPF, Static Routes, VLANs, L3 VLAN interfaces, ACLs, Multicast, and PIM Dense.
* Apply QoS fundamentals and applications.
Essential Skills
* Hands-on experience with networking, Cisco switches, and Arista.
* Proficiency in network management tools including Wireshark and Fluke Test equipment.
* Experience configuring DNS and NTP.
* Understanding of the SAFe Agile Process Framework.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Cisco certifications are highly desirable.
* Experience with network management and troubleshooting.
Work Environment
This position is based 100% onsite in one of the secure labs in Manassas, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
