We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Systems Senior Engineer to join our team and contribute to our success. As a Network Systems Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and configuration issues on our network infrastructure. You will also be involved in day-to-day operation tasks, procurement support, network asset documentation, and performance tuning.
Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Provide technical support for network infrastructure, including LAN, WLAN, WAN, NAC, and Firewall
- Troubleshoot and resolve incident tickets and change requests
- Coordinate with service providers for WAN/internet and hardware outages
- Perform preventive maintenance and performance tuning on network infrastructure
- Document operational processes and procedures
- Liaise with application groups on various projects and other system support requirements
- Provide on-call support
- Working in a team with local experts and in a global virtual team
- Participate in projects and new setups like site expansion projects, define and provision network, and coordinate with network architect for design active and passive network infrastructure
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- 3-5 years of network experience preferred
- Knowledge of Network and IT Standards, concepts, and technology
- CCNA or CCNP Certification will be an advantage
- Fluent in Spanish and English, including technical concepts and terminology
