A Network Systems Administrator, is responsible for overseeing an organization’s computer systems and networks to ensure proper maintenance and security. Their duties include working with other IT staff and employees to identify network or computer system needs, overseeing the installation or upgrading of new hardware or software.
Duties And Responsibilities
Maintaining computer networks and systems including computers, software, wired and wireless network, VPN, switches, and printers.
Installing, configuring, and monitoring computer networks equipment for updates to OS (Microsoft Windows and Apple), antivirus, software and backup.
Implement security policies, conduct regular security assessments and respond to security incidents and service requests.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams and configurations; antivirus and patch management reports; domain accounts review, domain accounts onboarding and offboarding.

Required Skills
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication and management skills with attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Thorough understanding of networking protocols, LAN networking, and WAN networking.
Proficient with Microsoft Windows OS, Apple macOS, Microsoft 365 and related software, VPN, Exchange, and multi factor authentication.
3 or more years experience as a network administrator or similar capacity.
Must be comfortable working in a hybrid office/home environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
The salary range for this position is between USD $67,000 to $80,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
