Summary

Role Purpose

Network Implementation manager sits in NPS Markets Network Implementation team under Infrastructure & Cloud group. This role leads/develops a geographically distributed team composed of Network Implementation Engineers. This role in the NPS Network Services Implementation Team Leadership Team, who will lead the transformation of the Network implementation capability according to company business, service, product, and technology strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns the Markets Network Implementation team, develops team resources
  • Leads and drives strategic priorities with a team of Network implementation specialists across Enterprise and Datacenter Network
  • Produces and analyses team’s workload and work Reports and assignment of team resourcing of project requests
  • Recommends and initiates process/procedure modifications as needed
  • Optimally use available resources to ensure plans are in place to accomplish goals
  • Achieve optimisation using Automation opportunities wherever possible
  • Identify skills gaps within the team and new growth technology areas and come up with a training plan to ensure continuous learning and upskilling
  • Ensure policies, standards and procedures are adhered within projects
  • Handle project front door processing co requirements between multiple teams to handover
  • Lead third party resourcing requirements to meet project needs, including engagement selection, onboarding, and Financing (Purchase Orders, Invoicing and Charging)
  • Establish good relationships with internal and external partners
  • Partners with other teams to fix issues raised from a wide group of customers
  • Guides and develops colleagues within the team

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Network implementation Experience
  • Strong Network Implementation Experience in Enterprise and Datacentre Network Environments
  • Good Experience of handling Network Implementation projects
  • Good Experience of leading highly skilled Network LAN Implementation Engineers
  • Good Experience on Network Automation Framework, Strategy, Planning and Execution
  • Building relationship with customers to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions to the business.
  • Using qualities and actions that focus on helping individuals improve performance by using probing questions in order to guide others toward improvement and learning through partnership, positive leadership and strengths.
  • Continuously seeks new ways of working to make processes run smoother and faster.
  • Demonstrates the subject area of planning, prioritizing and handling resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe and standards.
  • Handles various parties (internally & externally), collaborates and tracks the impact of work has on the communities, while improving transparency and accountability.
  • Communicates with transparency and precision, presents complex information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.
  • Improves technical knowledge of products to meet customer needs and understands market segments as well as market data trends.
  • Actively controls and structures use of time to most optimally accomplish work, projects and goals.

Certifications/ Education:

  • Graduate in any subject from any recognised university
  • Extensive experience in implementation and integration strategy in a large scale organisation
