Years of experience required:

A minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands on experience with Python or similar language with a strong understanding of how automation can be applied within the environment.

Candidates also need 2 to 3 years experience working with firewalls in a professional setting, preferably with Check Point

Disqualifiers: Lacking hands on scripting experience, limited firewall exposure, no python or similar language experience

Additional qualities to look for:

Problem solver/can troubleshoot and offer scalable solutions, comfortable working in cross-functional teams and Agile environments

Top 3 must-have hard skills stack-ranked by importance

1 Python or similar language

2 Check Point experience or similar
