We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain robust network infrastructures across LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.

• This role requires strong technical expertise in network design, security, and automation, along with proactive performance monitoring and incident response capabilities.
• The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to ensure reliable and secure network operations in alignment with business and compliance objectives.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Network Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and support scalable and high-availability network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and wireless systems.
• Firewall & Security Configuration: Configure and manage firewalls (FortiGate preferred), enforce network access policies, and monitor security compliance across systems.
• Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Utilize tools such as Prometheus and PRTG to monitor performance, detect anomalies, and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts using Bash and Python to streamline configuration, management, and performance optimization tasks.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with system and security teams to troubleshoot issues, integrate services, and maintain network integrity across platforms.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation including network diagrams, configuration logs, and incident reports for compliance and operational continuity.
• Security Implementation: Collaborate with security teams to deploy VPNs, implement access control policies, and protect data through robust network security practices.
• Incident Management: Act as the first line of response for network-related issues; participate in root cause analysis and recommend preventive strategies.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or network security.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and firewall technologies including FortiGate, VPNs, routers, and switches.
