Relevant Experience Required – 5 to 6 Years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of network devices and their software. Including L3-L2 Switches, Firewalls, Wireless Controllers and Load Balancers.
• Monitoring network performance, identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updating firmware, applying security patches, and backup.
• Troubleshooting of network issues related with routing, switching, firewall and Wi-Fi. Diagnose problems, and implement solutions.
• Prepare daily report on network performance and security incidents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations and procedures.
• Provide technical support to end-users regarding network, voice and security related issues.

Protocols Knowledge:

• Switching- Vlans, Trunks, Ether-Channels, MultiChassic Ether-Channels, STP, SPAN, inter VLAN routing, VSS, vPC, VSX, stacking, HSRP, VRRP, ARP, DHCP, NTP and QoS
• Routing- OSPF, BGP, PBR, GRE tunnelling and IP SLA
• Security- DHCP snooping, dynamic ARP inspection, MAC Security, port security, Remote access, IPSec, UTM, IPS/IDS, EAP, Radius, Tacacs, SNAT, DNAT, ACL, DNS, SNMP, Syslogs, FTP, MFA and NAC
• Core Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols (How it works and wireshark packet level analysis)

Hands On Experience:

• Must have experience with Aruba Switches (Both with Aruba OS and CX OS), Cisco Switches (Both with IOS OS and NX OS), Fortigate Firewall, Aruba & Cisco Wireless Controller, ISE, and ClearPass
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet, Fortimanager, Fortiauthenticator and Fortianalyzer
• Familiarity with network security tools and technologies

Preference:

• Scripting skills (Python) for automation
• Basic knowledge of IP Telephony (EPBX)
• HandsOn experience on Avaya IP Office
