Job Objectives

The Security Engineer will support the day-to-day operations and development of the bank's security suite of products, with the key objective of maintaining, developing, and enhancing the detection, prevention, response, and monitoring capabilities of the Security Operation Center.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Support a wide array of security solutions and infrastructure deployed within the bank.
• Propose, develop, test, and manage application, system, and infrastructure changes, upgrades, troubleshooting, patching, and improvements.
• Drive upgrades and migrations to ensure solutions and related platforms are maintained in optimal working conditions with proper documentation and root cause analysis.
• Implement new technology and process improvements for the bank.
• Manage and support the deployment of network security solutions, including firewalls, IDS, and IPS.
• Support and enhance security monitoring capabilities using anomaly detection and protocol analysis.
• Manage and coordinate the change process engagement with regards to current security solutions.
• Support all audit requests and provide timely resolutions for the findings.
• Work within established practices and handling guidelines to triage security incidents and system outages.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and engineers in technical troubleshooting exercises and forums.
• Be available to respond to any requests and assist with troubleshooting activities, maintaining proper documentation.
• Resolve standard/routine issues independently and complex/unusual issues with minimal guidance.
• Communicate effectively with various internal teams and external contacts, including technical and executive contacts.
• Handle multiple priorities and deliverables in an operational, interrupt-driven environment with minimal guidance or supervision.
  
  
  

Technical Skills

• 2+ years of relevant experience in network security design, security product development, or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles and tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS, IPS).
• Experience in developing and managing security monitoring and risk control systems.
• Experience with security testing and vulnerability analysis of network protocols and trading platforms.
• Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux and Windows administration is beneficial.
• Experience in analyzing and managing protocol vulnerabilities, security threats, and risk assessments.
