We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to join our team and work from the client location all 5 days in the week. This is a completely onsite role and needs people with good communication and problem solving skills. Essential functions * Working as a member of this team, your job will be to review pre-change firewall requests ensuring the requested updates adhere to policies and standards * You will also perform audits on existing firewall policies post change ensuring what was requested has been staged * Identify potential risk submitting findings for other Cyber-security groups to track remediation with application owners * Maximizing workflow, accessibility, and document sharing via customized solutions using SharePoint * Design, create, and maintain flows, actions, and triggers Qualifications * (Must Have) 5+ years of proven experience in firewall administration and management, with a strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and standards. * (Must Have) 5+ years of proven in-depth knowledge of firewall technologies (such Palo Alto, etc.), experience with rule configuration, and audit. * Familiarity with governance frameworks and standards (such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, etc.). * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex network configurations and security requirements. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. * Relevant certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or vendor-specific certifications) are highly desirable. * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
