Job Description
" Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) Certification is strongly preferred.
" Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) Certification is strongly preferred.
" 8+ years of experience in Architecture or Sr. Network Security engineering.
" 5+ years of experience in designing and deploying technical solutions in a large-scale complex environment.
" 5+ years of experience in network security architecture.
" Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet products.
" Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
" Experience with a NAC (Aruba Clearpass, Cisco Client, and ForeScout) environment is strongly desired.
" Experience installing, managing, and supporting production network and computer security systems comprised of multiple network hardware and software.
" Strong understanding of Routing, Switching, 802.1X, 802.1Q VLAN, VPN, LAN, WAN, RADIUS, and Network Security.
" Knowledge of security standards, procedures, and technologies.
" Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, comfortable communicating with audiences of varying levels of management; ability to establish rapport, and gain respect and collaboration.
" Strong organizational and leadership skills.
" Strong strategic and analytical thinking, root cause analysis, and creative problem-solving ability.
" A self-motivated individual with a 'can do' attitude, seeing the big picture, creative and collaborative.
" Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
" Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams.
" Network administrator experience and network security experience is a plus.
" Security and Network certification such as CISSP, SSCP, GIAC, or CCIE is a plus.
" Healthcare provider industry experience is preferred.
" Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
