Responsibilities:

• Review specifications, Architecture and Design documents for the firewalls.
• Study and understand customer and internal specifications.
• Resolve inconsistencies in case of unclear technical requirements in the specification by direct communication with the responsible internal/external stakeholder.
• Provide root cause analysis for issues, fix these issues, and verify effectiveness of given fixes.
• Find optimal solutions for specific requirements and propose solutions.
• CCSA, CCSE network security engineer with extensive experience in managing firewall deployment, rule implementation & monitoring.
• Stronghold in Checkpoint devices (Firewall, MDS, Scalable-Platform, Could-Guard) upgrades, site to site VPN configuration & cluster configuration.
• Management server HA for fail-over for network management reliability.
• Extensive experience for conducting hands-on- training on network security fundamentals & troubleshooting/ resolving software & end user issues.
• Perimeter security includes firewalls, load-balancer, proxy etc.
• Innovative thinker with proven leadership abilities, excellent communication & negotiation skills
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical & non-technical person

Skills required:

• At least 9+ years of experience as a Network Security Architect
• Firewall expertise.
• Good English communication skills both written and verbal
• Technical knowledge on below:
• Checkpoint NGX, GAIA, MDS, Scalable-Platform, Could-Guard, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, IPSec, IPS, Threat Prevention, HTTP, NAT/PAT, SSL VPN, VLAN, Static & Dynamic IP addressing, load-balance, Barracuda, Azure and Zscaler etc.
