Job Title: Network Security Analyst (Continuity of Operations)

Location: Tallahassee, FL (on-site preferred)

Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills and Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 10 years of IT work experience with demonstrated knowledge in architecture design, software development, database management systems and systems integration in multi-platform environments.  
• Experience drafting policies, disaster recovery and continuity of operations plans.
• Experience in information gathering sessions for technical requirements and leading technical tabletop exercises.
• Work closely with Network Supervisor and Information Security Manager
• Assist in developing, documenting, and maintaining Continuity of Operations (COOP) and DR plans for all identified agency systems
• Conduct policy research and write comprehensive security documents
• Lead and support tabletop exercises for COOP, DR, and Risk Management
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to agency staff
• Conduct interviews and gather technical information from relevant stakeholders
• Implement and promote best practices and regulatory compliance for Information Security

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and enhance COOP, DR, and Risk Management programs and processes
• Support mission-critical network and security needs
• Research mandates, regulations, and rules for information security requirements
• Develop applicable security policies aligned with state and federal guidelines
• Ensure organizational preparedness through technical planning and simulated exercises
