The Network Sales Engineer is a technical sales support position responsible for orchestrating pre- and post-sale engagement to current and prospective clients.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Computer Networking, Network Engineering or related.
5 years' experience in networking infrastructure and support.
CompTIA Network+, Security+ or similar certification
Preferred Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
Expert working knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP
Expert working knowledge of Wireshark
Experience with higher level protocols such as WebRTC, TLS, RTSP, etc.
Experience with Ethernet and WiFi.
Understanding of SaaS and other cloud technologies.
Understanding of switching and routing technologies.
Understanding of firewalls, port mapping, VPNs and tunneling.
Understanding of Cybersecurity technologies and terminology.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the sales team to provide technical knowledge and support of DMP solutions for customers and prospects.
Provide technical expertise throughout sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Guide prospective clients through technical evaluations of DMP solutions.
Navigate and build long-term relationships with customers and become their trusted resource.
Seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen customer relationships.
Provide customer feedback to the organization.
