About the Role

We’re supporting a rapidly growing company in the EV charging sector, committed to building a scalable charging network.


They’re currently seeking a Network Operations & Field Service Specialist to oversee the UK charger network, ensuring high levels of reliability for EV users. You’ll be part of a collaborative technical support team, responsible for proactive maintenance, fault response, and coordination with external partners.


This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys blending hands-on problem solving with structured process improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the EV charging network to ensure optimal uptime and reliability
  • Coordinate and manage reactive maintenance through Field Service Partners (FSPs)
  • Maintain accurate data in the UK asset database and support performance reporting
  • Oversee and execute Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules
  • Act as the first point of contact for technical issues and escalations in the UK
  • Support internal teams and the customer service function with technical queries
  • Produce monthly performance reports and assist with cost tracking for approvals
  • Document and optimise operational procedures for improved efficiency and scalability


What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role ideally within the EV, mechanical & electrical, or infrastructure sectors
  • Working knowledge of electrical components used in EV charger installations (ideally)
  • Excellent communication skills – confident liaising with both internal teams and external contractors
  • Experience in asset management and using data to inform performance improvements
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • City & Guilds electrical qualifications or equivalent preferred
