Apply Job Type Full-time Description Position Overview As a network provisioning engineer you will be responsible for turn up and testing of network services to FiberLight's customers. These services may include DWDM waves, Ethernet MPLS services, and layer three services to customers. Key Responsibilities * Configure and test Circuits according to predetermined design specifications * Conduct maintenance window changes to a variety of network gear * Coordinate test and turn up with the Fiberlight NOC and external customers * Migrate and Groom existing services * Collaborate with network engineers and other stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and requirements * Serve as escalation for the NOC for customer support * Support Operations during outages needing Engineering support * Review technical statement of work documentation Required Qualifications and Skills * Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. * 4+ years of experience in network engineering * Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and at least one DWDM Platform (Ciena, Adva, Infinera, Fujitsu, etc.) * Experience with network management systems and protocols Preferred Qualifications and Skills * Experience with automating Cisco and Juniper routers and switches using Python scripts, Ansible, and Git * Experience with cloud automation using Terraform or CloudFormation * Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AWS * Experience with BGP and MPLS configurations * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities * CCNP or JNCP certifications is a plus
