Role: NOC Technician
Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Location: on site 4 days a week - 180 Fountain Parkway Suite 200 St. Petersburg, FL 33716
Max Pay: $20/HR-$21/HR
Interview Process: 2 rounds – both will be virtual
Must Haves:
-2+ year experience within network operations support
-Prior experience working within a Cisco heavy environment
-Prior experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
-Experience with monitoring tools
-High School diploma or GED
Plusses:
-Exposure to SD WAN and/or Meraki
–Exposure to Palo Alto firewalls
-CCNA
–Bachelor's Degree
Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a NOC Technician to join one of their top financial clients in the St. Petersburg area. This individual will be joining the Network Operations team, responsible for providing Tier 1 support across the enterprise (branch locations included). This individual will handle a number of tickets daily, focused on remediating issues immediately that could pertain to the networking side (Cisco routers, hardware etc) as well as server issues (stop and start services, outages etc). This person should be well versed in networking, and have a baseline understanding of how to troubleshoot, what commands to use, and when to escalate if needed. This candidate should also have exposure to a ticketing system, ServiceNow preferred. Any exposure to SolarWinds for monitoring is additionally a plus. We are seeking someone ideally flexible between the 1st and 2nd shift as needed, as there is only one other person on the team doing this work right now (7AM-4PM, 3PM-12AM).
