The Role:

We’re looking for a NOC Technician to join our Network Operations team. In this role, you’ll help support and maintain our advanced fiber infrastructure, assist in troubleshooting, and ensure exceptional service delivery to our customers. This is on-site position with out an option for remote work.

Responsibilities:

Operating Systems:

  • Proficient in Windows Desktop and various Linux environments (GUI and CLI).

Networking & Internet:

  • Strong understanding of routers, switches, and networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, the OSI model, and packet capture/analysis.
  • Experience with CLI-based networking tasks.

Hardware & Software:

  • Set up and configure hardware including desktops, servers, printers, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot a variety of hardware and software issues.
  • Google Workspace administration experience is a plus.
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent knowledge preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Linux and command-line operations.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adjust based on the audience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to seek assistance when needed.
  • Team player who shares responsibility for network health and reliability.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and stay organized.
  • Professionalism and perseverance when working through challenges.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay range: $26 per hour

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Participation in a rotating on-call schedule required

Location:

  • In-person work based in Monmouth, OR
  • Applicants must have the ability to commute to or relocate to Monmouth, OR before starting.

License/Certification:

  • Valid Driver’s License required.
