Position : Network Lead - Juniper & Aruba

Location : Orlando, FL Day 1 Onsite

Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Network Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex networks utilizing Juniper and Aruba technologies. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and data center networks.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the network, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Manage and mentor a team of network engineers.
  • Define and implement network architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new network technologies and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation and procedures.
  • Ensure network security and compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for network support.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential network issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless network integration.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in networking technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering with a strong focus on Juniper and Aruba technologies.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring network engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, ISIS), switching technologies, and network security concepts.
  • Experience with MPLS, VPNs, and data center networking technologies (e.g., VXLAN, SDN).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • JNCIA-Junos, JNCIP-Junos, and relevant Aruba certifications preferred.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with network automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with network security technologies (firewalls).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.).
  • Experience with network performance monitoring and analysis tools.
