Key Responsibilities:

Juniper Network Infrastructure:

  • Create and maintain detailed build guides and service work instructions
  • Configure and stage Juniper devices across multiple milestone phases
  • Execute on-site deployments in a controlled data centre environment

  • Collaborate with security teams on compliance and remediation documentation

SolarWinds Monitoring Platform:

  • Deliver full system design and build documentation for SolarWinds deployments
  • Configure SNMP and syslog filters based on customer-defined criteria
  • Lead the server build and configuration of SolarWinds environments (Observability and NPM)
  • Develop monitoring dashboards in line with assumed service team needs (refinable post-deployment)
  • Support software import and licence alignment with customer procurement teams

Additional Systems Support (Optional Scope):

  • Complete end-to-end deployment for VMware Horizon, NTP, and Cisco ISE components
  • Provide staging, testing, and documentation for these platforms as required

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience deploying Juniper network infrastructure in enterprise/secure environments
  • Strong knowledge of SolarWinds (Observability and/or NPM), including SNMP, syslog, and dashboard design
  • Comfortable authoring LLDs, build guides, testing scripts, and service documentation
  • Familiarity with secure environments and government-grade compliance standards
  • Confident in stakeholder communication and service team engagement

Desirable:

  • Experience working within public sector or MOD environments
  • Understanding of infrastructure security principles and remediation processes
  • Hands-on knowledge of Cisco ISE and VMware Horizon platforms
  • Comfortable managing own workstream with minimal supervision
