We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector. Our IT team is growing, and we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Network Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will plan and design network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks for all North American Minth locations. Other responsibilities include:

• Network Design and Implementation:
• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and server infrastructure.
• Ensure network security by implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures.
• Network Monitoring and Maintenance:
• Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
• Troubleshoot network problems, diagnose issues, and implement solutions.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates and hardware upgrades.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with other IT professionals and stakeholders to ensure network needs are met.
• Communicate network status and issues to relevant parties.
• Document network configurations and procedures.
  

To qualify for this role you must meet the following:

• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Strong understanding of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model and how to actively use its conceptual framework to troubleshoot network problems.
• Experience with network hardware and software.
• Familiarity with network security technologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stay up to date with the latest network technologies.
• Certifications:
• CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or other relevant certifications.
