Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team located in Rancho Bernardo, CA. The Network Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing the local and wide area networks of an organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. The role can include designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary. Responsibilities of the Network Engineer role include: * Designing, planning, and implementing LAN (Local Area Network) infrastructure. * Configuring and installing Cisco network switches * Monitoring network performance and identifying potential issues. * Troubleshooting network problems, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions. Preferred Experience: * Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates and hardware upgrades. * Have a Cisco CCO account to create Cisco TAC cases and download IOS updates * Documenting network configurations and procedures. Required Qualifications for the Network Engineer include: * BA in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field * Five years of experience in network administration * Five years of experience configuring Cisco switches * Current CCNA, Security+ Cert, TS/SCI Compensation for the Systems Administrator include: * Hourly Range: $60-80/hr.with PTO/Holiday Pay - equivalent of $125-175K * W2, long-term, open-ended, multi-year assignment * Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays This job opens for applications on [05/04/2025].
