Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Network Engineer in support of our enterprise storage and computer customer-based client in Spring, Texas.
Duties:
* Network Engineer will configure/troubleshoot QOS, VLANs, ACL, using troubleshooting tools like NetFlow, SolarWinds, and various application response time monitoring tools
* Technical troubleshooting & Implementation of changes in the complex network environment using Infoblox and Bind platform
* Assist in network & equipment problem troubleshooting* Knowledge, skills and experience with Company Aruba routing, switching, and wireless hardware, software and protocols including Aruba Mobility Controllers, Aruba Instant Aps, Aruba Airwave, Aruba Central, Aruba Activate, Security, Aruba ClearPass
* Working experience on Company Aruba, 3com, H3C, Arista and Juniper switches, Palo Alto, Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls
* Strong experience working on Juniper and Arista Hardware switches
* Good experience in QFx5120/5130 series of switches
* Experience with SDN, SD-WAN products and services; Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and network facilities
* Experience in network design and network security including Device Hardening, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Firewalls, and IPSec, vulnerability assessment and intrusion detection
* Experience of working in the data center network environment and Strong experience in Leaf & Spine architecture
* Good documentation and process experience
* Ethernet VPN-Virtual Extensible LAN (EVPN-VXLAN) architecture knowledge
* Experience with Policy Based Routing, Quality of Service, NetFlow, Wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, virtual networks, NAT, ACL controls, Web Security/URL Filtering, IPSec, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Malware Prevention
* IPv4 and IPv6 experience is must and a strong understanding of network infrastructure, IP addressing, IP traffic management, DNS/DHCP, NTP, Security and Network Monitoring tools
* Advanced knowledge and experience with networking components. E.g. TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, DDNS, DHCP, F5 LTM, GTM, SSH, VPNs, IP routing protocols including RIP, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS, etc.
* Thorough understanding of modern service providers, TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies including but not limited to: Ethernet, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, IGMP, STP, RSTP, 802.1x
