Job Role : Network Engineer (Field) Location : Coimbatore Experience : 2-5 years Roles and responsibilities: Configuring and managing routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues. Ensuring network security and data integrity. Collaborating with IT teams to integrate new technologies. Documenting network configurations and changes. Cisco LAN & WAN Design and Implementation Technologies Strong understanding of various routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP and MPLS are mandatory Strong understanding of various switching protocols like STP, RSTP, VLAN, HSRP, VRRP, VTP etc. are mandatory Strong understanding of various tunnel like GRE, IPSEC and Network Address Translation (NAT), Access control lists (ACL) is Mandatory. First Hop Redundancy Protocols (VRRP/HSRP/GLBP), link state and distance vector Good experience in End-of-life device replacement or migration project. Should have knowledge in hardware mainly Cisco Routing and switching products. Provide expert network design, recommendations, and configurations Good Knowledge of Wi-Fi Technologies. Should be comfortable to work in field environment.
