Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong experience in Fortinet firewalls (FortiOS configuration, FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer is a plus)
• Firewall troubleshooting, policy design, and VPN (IPSec/SSL) configuration
• Deep understanding of network security principles, segmentation, IDS/IPS, and threat protection
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, ACLs
• Familiarity with network security monitoring and logging tools
  
  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Fortinet (FortiGate) firewalls
• Define and manage security policies, NAT rules, VPNs, web filtering, and intrusion prevention
• Monitor firewall logs and alerts; respond to incidents and security breaches
• Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure secure access and network segmentation
• Support LAN and SD-WAN infrastructure, especially during cross-functional implementations or escalations
• Conduct regular audits, rule reviews, and compliance checks
• Document firewall configurations, network diagrams, and incident response steps
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and change control processes
• Participate in security assessments and vulnerability mitigation initiatives
• Stay up to date on latest cybersecurity threats and industry best practices
  
  

Salary Range: $63,400-$137,000 a year
