ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other work-related duties may be assigned.

·Support the Network Infrastructure environment with a service oriented approach and efficient delivery to meet customer needs, requirements, and their service expectations

·Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure

·Responsible for all engineering, design, deploying, troubleshooting, and administrating network infrastructure solutions (hardware and software) with a primary focus on:

o Network Server Services solutions (e.g. support of network solutions supporting data center servers, Virtual solutions (e.g. VMWARE, etc.), Storage/Backup solutions, VDI solutions, layer 2 over layer 3 solutions, etc.)

o Network Shared Services (e.g. IP Management, DNS, NTP, etc.)

·Automate network deployment and data collection tasks to enhance the productivity and validity of the results.

·Create and document Support Strategies ensuring the ongoing support expectations of all IT solutions aligns with the business expectations.

·Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks. Ensure relevant operational process, procedure, and policy documentation is effectively managed and the data required to support operations is complete and accurate in systems.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

·Education - Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

·Experience - Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in a Network engineering role in a Cisco environment.

·Experience - Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in supporting/managing hosted Data Centers.

·Certifications – CCNA or CCNP preferred

·Candidate must have advanced knowledge and hands-on administration experience with the following technologies and concepts:

·Cisco Networking Equipment (switches, Wireless, Firewalls, Routers, etc.)

·Cisco NX-OS switches – 9k and 7k desired

·L2/L3 protocols – RSTP, EIGRP and BGP desired

·Data Center spine and leaf topology with L2/L3 out desired

·Experience in automating network deployments desired

·Cisco DNA administration experience desired – specifically using Cisco DNA in automation and support.

·Cisco DCNM administration experience desired

·Data Center Management

·Python skillset desired

·Ansible or Terraform administration experience desired

·Monitoring/Observability tools (Dynatrace)

·Cisco ISE administration experience desired

·Forward Networks administration experience desired

·Cisco Wireless solutions experience desired

·SD-WAN, with Cloud Integration experience desired

·Firewalls (Cisco Firepower and ASA preferred) experience desired

·Network Access Control solutions

o Forescout administrative experience desired

·InfoBlox administration experience desired

·Centralized Policy Management

·Configuration Drift Detection and Remediation

·Security Posture Assurance

·Azure networking – VNET and Express Route experience

·Disaster Recovery

·ITIL Certification and experience desired

·Language Skills - Must possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

·Project Management Skills - Must possess excellent project management skills and have experience in managing medium to large IT projects.

·Reasoning Ability – Must possess excellent reasoning skills, and be able to evaluate multiple potential solutions to complex problems.
