The ideal candidate should have a strong background in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure for both on-premises and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities: Network Design & Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage enterprise and cloud-based network architectures. Configure and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Implement and maintain LAN/WAN, SDN (Software-Defined Networking), and CDN (Content Delivery Networks). Security & VPN Management: Deploy and manage VPN solutions (IPSec, SSL, site-to-site, client VPNs). Ensure network security best practices, including firewall policies, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architectures. Work on cloud networking security (AWS, Azure, GCP). Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance using tools. Diagnose and resolve network issues, including latency, packet loss, and security incidents. Ensure high availability and failover strategies for critical network components. Cloud & SDN Technologies: Work with SD-WAN, SDN controllers, and cloud-native networking solutions. Optimize CDN solutions (Cloudflare, Akamai, AWS CloudFront, etc.) for faster content delivery. Implement network automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5-10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering. Strong knowledge of routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, etc.). Experience with firewalls & security appliances (Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA). Proficiency in VPN configurations (Fortinet, Azure VPN, Cisco, Checkpoint) Familiarity with SDN technologies (Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or OpenFlow-based solutions). Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of CDN management & optimization. Strong troubleshooting skills using tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, and NetFlow analyzers. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Hands-on experience with network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform, or scripting). Knowledge of IPv6 networking and dual-stack environments.
