Pitech Solutions is partnering with SAIC for an opportunity as a Network Engineer located in Pearl City, Hawaii to support USINDOPACOM on the Software, Simulation, System Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate, DEVCOM Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC) program to assist in analyzing, project planning, developing, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing large complex systems and networks.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Support the team of system and network administrators and engineers who deliver mission critical infrastructure, and continually ensure the highest levels of accessibility, optimization, and security
• Assist in analyzing, project planning, developing, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing large complex systems and networks consisting of servers, computers, LANS, WANs and the physical and logical components that integrate these systems together as an enterprise networking backbone

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors with five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Previous work experience as a networking engineer within complex environment
• Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-NX, Ironport, Riverbed, Infoblox, Firepower, JUNOS, Aruba, and Brocade
• Knowledge of networking hardware including access points, switches, and routers
• Familiarity with communication and routing protocols

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
• Must be a current US Citizen

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

• Must have a current DoD IAT Level II or higher certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CySA+, CASP, or CISSP etc
