Network Solution Expert Support

Main Responsibility :

The Network-Security Solution Support will be responsible for maintaining the availability, reliability and integrity of Core, Aggregation, Distribution and Edge Networks.

This position is responsible for providing Solution Design, Implementation, administration expertise and support of all aspects of the Core, Aggregation, Distribution and Edge Network/Security products, including administration, operational management, and troubleshooting to ensure the efficient, stable, reliable and secure operations of all business services.

The role will ensure the availability and reliability of the supported Network and Security infrastructure by analyzing and resolving problems associated to ensure non-interruptive services of systems, hardware, , applications, and software as well as monitoring and maintaining the overall performance of Network and Security infrastructure and services.

The role requires a strong background in the implementation, management, and support of Network and Security in a multi-vendor products infrastructure. In addition, the position will also provide Network and Security support for the Bank’s Internal/External customer services including management of Network and Security operations and maintenance, configuration management, installations, Upgrades and performance management.

Expert level of Experience in design, implement and support of LAN, MAN, WLAN and WAN Networks and SD WAN with Layer 2, Layer 3 and dynamic routing protocols

The Network and Security Support will ensure the implementation of the agreed Network and Security architecture and standard configuration, security management, performance tuning, system hardening as well as support the various projects involving deployment or lifecycle management of the Network, Security, Application for bank’s business services.

Performing disaster recovery operations like fail over and failback, monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments or tuning need to be made in network security infrastructure. Dependable and flexible when necessary raises for support or project implementation

Actively participate and collaborate with other members for solution design, or Projects, and support.

Important skills such as problem-solving skills, analytical skills, reporting, planning, designing and organizational skills are also required as part of this role:

• Implement, Manage, Support, Administrate and monitor network infrastructure consisting of, Cisco Nexus & Catalyst based switches and routers in Campus / Branches/ ATM / Production Data Center / Disaster Recovery Data Center
• Plan, Implementation, Support and administration of OSPF, BGP routing protocol and Spanning tree protocols networks for Campus / Branches / ATM / Core / Production Data Center / Disaster Recovery Data Center
• Plan, Implementation and administration of Nexus Switches with Virtual Port Channel on Production Data Center / Disaster Recovery Data Center
• Plan, Implementation, Support and administration implementation IP SLA on managing the routing.
• Plan, Implementation, Support and administration of Cisco ISE 802.1x with posture validation for endpoint Network Admission Control
• Provide first-level / Second Level consultations and support to network / Field Engineers and System engineers & Testing Departments on IT issues.
• Continually work on achieving high performance in providing mission-critical support to Business Operations and services while complying to audit and security recommendation
• Support offsite ATM locations Remote VPN’s Firewall and IPS configured on Fortinet Devices including Data Center & Disaster recovery Data Center VPN’s.
• Administer Network and Security Management Systems of Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, Cisco DCNM, Forti manager, Forti Analyzer and Solar winds NCM.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the disaster recovery processes and procedures for the network.
• Supporting day to day activities effectively so that all network infrastructure to agreed level of availability and quality.
• Support to ensure that all network / security projects delivered on time and support projects pertains to Business developments.
• Installation, Support and administration of DC / DR inter site critical links, Branches and Offsite ATM MPLS Links. Third-party MPLS / Leased lines for the high availability in coordination with ISP.
• Network and Security Remote support of international branches.
• Implementation of Audit recommendations and Ensure audit findings are closed on time.
• Ensure Network Vulnerabilities are treated in-line with the applied SLAs.
• Implementation of Security Baseline on Network and Security infrastructure Devices.
• Planning and Support for shifting Network equipment & Testing of the MPLS link after branch renovation or re-location of branch/Offsite ATM
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation of the Network Infrastructure. Plan and Implementation of Projects and supporting other Departments Projects.
• Update and Maintain the list of links accounts
• Update and Maintain the CMDB for network and security infrastructure
• Monitoring Network and Security devices alerts and act to resolve it within the defined SLAs.
• Update Patches, Firmware and Operating systems of Cisco Catalyst, Cisco ISE, Cisco Nexus, Cisco DCNM and Fortinet Products.
• Ensure compliance with corporate / security policies and governmental regulations, and support interaction with internal and external auditors, as needed.
• Provide support for various business and IT projects while ensuring adherence to the agreed project scope and timelines.
• Work closely with service providers and external parties to Plan, Implement, Administer the network and security infrastructure projects.
• Execute the day-to-day operational activities for the Network support in line with service delivery goals and the published SLAs.
• Maintain complete technical documentation of all Network and Security devices.
• Demonstrate capability managing simultaneous projects, crisis situations, and successfully meeting deadlines.

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in IT , Computer Science, Network Engineering
