Summary

Description: Prelude Services is a Managed Service Provider that has delivered innovative and secure IT services for over 26 years. Prelude's corporate office is located in Mechanicsburg. This position will be a combination of work from home, office, and at client sites as needed. There will be regional travel required, and the potential for occasional overnight travel if necessary. Prelude offers the following IT services: Outsourcing Cloud Computing 24x7 Service Desk Network Management Hardware and Software Support HIPAA IT Risk Assessment and Security Management Services Enterprise Reporting and Dashboards Position Summary: As the Network Engineer, reporting to the Director of Network Communications, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, maintenance, configuration, implementation, securing, and troubleshooting of telecommunications and network infrastructure for Prelude and clients. As Network Engineer, you will need knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures required to support LAN/WAN networks as well as knowledge of LAN/WAN architectures to help design and install internal and external networks. This role requires proven analytical and problem solving abilities and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Requirements: Minimum of three years of experience in Networking support and trouble shooting. Strong focus on end-user service and satisfaction. Effective written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of networks and equipment architectures. Understanding of disaster recovery procedures. Project management skills. Proven experience in dependability and troubleshooting skills. Ability to adapt and keep skill set current with new technologies. Travel to client locations as required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift up to 40 lbs. Participates in disaster recovery documentation, planning and implementation.
