Summary

Role: Network L3/ Network Administration

Location: Summit, New Jersey

ONSITE/Fulltime


Responsibilities & Qualifications


  1. Must have 9+ years' experience is required.
  2. Adhering to SLAs
  3. Mentoring / Training Team Members
  4. Handling Incident, Problem and Change tickets / Service requests.
  5. Perform root cause analysis.
  6. Troubleshooting technical issues
  7. Defining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered.
  8. Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration, and migration.
  9. Extensive experience on Projects design and implementation
  10. Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA.
  11. Understanding of multi-geo support environment
  12. Responsible for building / maintaining a test environment.
  13. Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction.
  14. Suggests new technologies and design changes.
  15. Monitoring and maintaining SLA requirements by the team members.
  16. Testing / Auditing/processes as required from time to time.
  17. Identify Skill gaps and plan for training / knowledge updating.


Mandatory Skills:

  1. Router – Cisco
  2. Cisco SDWAN
  3. Switch – Cisco and Arista
  4. Meraki Wireless and MX devices
  5. WLAN – Cisco
  6. IPAM/DNS/DHCP - Infoblox
  7. Automation
  8. Juniper Mist
  9. Load Balancer - F5 LTM/GTM


Qualifications:

  1. Min 10+ years of Network administration experience in large enterprise environment
  2. Experience in Customer handling as a Techno Manger
  3. Should have Cisco and other industry standard networking certifications.
  4. Extensive experience in System Fault Tolerance, Networking Designing, Business continuity and Disaster recovery
  5. Excellent hands-on experience on with CISCO SDWAN with Implementation and troubleshooting Skills.
  6. Expertise in the analysis, implementation, troubleshooting & documentation of LAN/WAN architecture and good experience on IP services.
  7. Should have Extensive experience on project design, Implementation (Brown & Green Filed)
  8. Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
  9. Expert level knowledge of troubleshooting, implementing, optimizing, and testing of static and dynamic routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and ability to interpret and resolve complex route table problem.
  10. Excellent hands-on experience on Cisco devise (Routers Switches l2/l3) Excellent hands-on on Cisco & Meraki Products
  11. Excellent hands-on in Cisco Meraki switches MS100, MS200, MS300, MS400
  12. Excellent hands-on in Cisco Meraki MX100, MX84 MX250, MX450
  13. Excellent hands-on in Cisco Meraki WLC/Access point
  14. Should have excellent knowledge of installing and troubleshooting Meraki Wi-Fi networks
  15. Handling escalated troubleshooting calls related with Routing, Switching, Wireless, Meraki & VPN
  16. Excellent hands-on experience on Cisco Nexus 9K/7K/5K/2K Series of switches
  17. Excellent hands-on experience on Wireless LAN technologies – Cisco
  18. Excellent hands-on experience on WAN Acceleration
  19. Network Management tools – Cisco Prime & Netscout, DNAC
  20. Application Load balancers F5 Big IP LTM/GTM
  21. Knowledge on Infoblox solutions such as IPAM/DHCP/DNS/ vDiscovery will be an added advantage
  22. Experience in AWS or AZURE or any cloud networking technologies will be an added advantage.
  23. Knowledge on Juniper technology will be an added advantage


Soft Skills:

  1. Good Team player
  2. Good documentation skills
  3. Able to handle high pressure situations.
  4. High level of acceptance
  5. Can drive HCL’s value and its methodology.


Certifications must:

  • ITIL v3
  • CCNP-R&S or CCIE

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
