Responsibilities

• Need to have knowledge about Designs, installs and configures network and security infrastructure, including the core network switches, routers, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IPS), proxy servers, VPN concentrators, spam firewalls, configuration management and network performance management.

• Should monitor network traffic to identify problems and make capacity planning recommendations.

• Should maintain and update the network and security infrastructure, tests and implements vendor security patches, implement workarounds for unpatched security vulnerabilities.

• Should know how to Install, maintain, configure and troubleshoot the telecommunication infrastructure.

• Troubleshoots problems with network and security infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, proxy servers and make corrective actions when necessary.

• Assists with the planning, design, research and acquisition of new or upgraded hardware and software systems; maintains current knowledge of hardware, software and network technology and recommends modifications as necessary.

• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Skills and Qualifications:

• WAN and LAN, QoS, F5,DNAC, SDwan, Cisco ISE, Zscaler.
• Excellent client management/resolution, problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills
• Excellent oral, written & presentation communications skills.
• CCDA / CCNP / CCIE or Higher Cisco Certification or any other CISCO certification would be an advantage.
