Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team in Krakow, Poland for a 2-year freelance agreement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the operational aspects of the production network security environment, which includes managing corporate Firewalls, Proxies, Intrusion Protection & Detection systems, and DDOS capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain global network security design standards.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit, IT Risk and Security, and regulatory requirements.
• Design network security environments and implement tools.
• Manage and configure multiple firewall and proxy platforms (e.g., Zscaler, Cisco, Azure, NSX-T, Fortinet, Checkpoint).
• Track availability and address technical incidents or challenges as they arise.
• Adjust workload and priorities as needed to meet transformation program goals.
• Translate port/protocol traffic flows into documented security policy and risk.
• Implement security policies on platforms such as Cisco, Checkpoint, and Fortinet.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in network security, including experience with various security platforms.
• In-depth understanding of network security tools, such as Zscaler, Cisco, Azure, NSX-T, Fortinet, and Checkpoint.
• Strong ability to work on multiple platforms and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good technical ability to translate traffic flows to security policies and manage risk.
• Availability to handle shifting workloads and program-related changes.
