Meta Platforms is looking for an individual contributor role on the global edge, backbone and data center network deployment leadership team. This team is responsible for deploying one of the world's largest complex edge (CDN, Compute, IP) and Transport networks. As a member of this team, you will have a unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of networking at Facebook.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience 6+ years of experience in multiple technology disciplines with extensive experience in Network Deployment, Vendor and Workflow Management. Network Deployment knowledge of IP, Transport and CDN Networks Technologies and Service Management functions. Working knowledge of field-based work in 3rd Party Network Collocation Facilities Time management and program management skills: experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a constrained time schedule. Cross-functional leadership skills: experience in communicating risks and action plans to stakeholders and leadership. Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration across cross-functional team of key stakeholder management and business leaders. Resourceful, action-orientated with the experience in getting things done and overcoming obstacles and developing solutions to problems. Experience applying a broad and comprehensive understanding of multiple network functional areas and their underlying business principles. Knowledge of various scripting languages Experience with process improvement and systems development, leveraging automation to streamline repetitive workflows. Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning models
