If you are a Network Engineer/Admin/Support professional with security clearance living in Canberra?

Join the team to support a high-stakes operations centre. You’ll manage system upgrades, handle complex troubleshooting, and mentor junior staff to ensure smooth, secure network operations.

This opportunity does include shift work which is 3 12hr days and 2 nights.

5 days on 5 days off.

On site in Canberra. Candidates must be able to attend the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network administration: backups, Linux, security, account management, DNS, load balancing, Juniper/Cisco routing and switching.
• Support on-prem and AWS-based network/server infrastructure.
• Resolve service incidents and implement client service requests, meeting SLAs.
• Maintain professional client and stakeholder communication, updating the Service Desk.
• Keep documentation, procedures, and network diagrams accurate and up-to-date.

Required Skills:

• NV1 Security Clearance or higher (Can consider baseline).
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong with Cisco/Juniper routing & switching.
• Firewall configuration/support (Fortigate, Palo Alto).
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities with technical teams.
