Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Network and Cloud Engineer with a strong foundation in core Routing and Switching (R&S) along with hands-on experience in cloud and multicloud environments, particularly Aviatrix. The ideal candidate must demonstrate deep expertise in traditional networking protocols and technologies, coupled with a versatile understanding of cloud networking.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage complex routing and switching environments.
Perform scenario-based troubleshooting involving protocols like STP, DHCP, HSRP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
Design, deploy, and manage multicloud networking solutions with Aviatrix and other cloud technologies.
Support and implement ACI, SD-WAN (preferably Fortinet), F5 load balancers, and Meraki solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between on-prem and cloud infrastructures.
Document architectures, technical standards, and operational procedures.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for both legacy network environments and emerging cloud networking technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7–8 years of strong hands-on experience in Routing and Switching.
3–5 years of recent experience in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) with Aviatrix knowledge preferred.
Proficient in traditional networking protocols: STP, DHCP, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
Working knowledge of Cisco ACI, Fortinet SD-WAN, F5 load balancers, and Meraki solutions.
Solid understanding of hybrid cloud integration and cloud networking principles.
Ability to tackle scenario-based and real-time troubleshooting challenges confidently.
Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Aviatrix Certified Engineer (ACE) are highly desirable.
