Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer – Data Center & Cloud to join our Data Center & Cloud Network Team. In this role, you will help design, optimize, and manage a scalable and reliable infrastructure that supports millions of daily users. The ideal candidate has a passion for automation, hybrid cloud networking, and driving operational excellence at scale in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Design & Deployment: Architect, deploy, operate, and optimize network infrastructure across on-premises data centers and public cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Troubleshooting & Operations: Resolve complex network issues, including those related to load balancers, firewalls, switches, and hybrid cloud systems.
• Automation & Configuration as Code: Lead efforts to automate network configuration and management using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
• Collaboration & Support: Partner with software and systems engineering teams to provide networking expertise and support.
• Hybrid Cloud Networking: Maintain and enhance the networking aspects of hybrid infrastructures ensuring performance, availability, and security.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive enhancements to network standards, practices, and operational processes through collaboration with engineering teams.
• Knowledge Sharing: Actively mentor team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 8+ years of experience working in production network environments supporting large-scale global infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience managing hybrid cloud networks using AWS and/or GCP.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in core IP networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, DMVPN, IP Multicast, SDWAN.
• Strong background with networking hardware platforms like Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, F5, Juniper.
• Solid experience with firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) and network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Syslog, NetFlow).
• Advanced proficiency in L2/L3 switching architectures and technologies.
• Skilled in automating networking devices and infrastructure with Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of zero-trust security concepts and tools such as Aruba ClearPass or Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Committed to delivering high-quality, customer-centric solutions.
• Other Requirements:
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call support rotation as needed.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty.
• Experience with open-source network monitoring and automation frameworks.
