Key Responsibilities

Network Design and Architecture

Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for local and wide area networks, ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals.

Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge technologies to optimize network performance while enhancing security measures.

Design future-focused, high-performance network solutions to address evolving business requirements.

Implementation and Deployment

Lead the deployment of complex network systems with precision to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Manage the installation, configuration, and integration of network hardware and software components.

Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.

Network Management and Maintenance

Monitor network performance, addressing any issues to ensure optimal reliability and uptime.

Implement robust security protocols to safeguard the organization's network infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.

Regularly assess and update the network to align with the latest industry best practices and standards.

Documentation and Support

Maintain detailed documentation of architecture designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure consistent knowledge transfer.

Provide technical support to IT staff and end-users, acting as a mentor and expert resource.

Organize training sessions to improve the technical knowledge of the IT team.

Collaboration and Leadership

Partner with IT management, business units, and stakeholders to understand networking requirements and provide tailored solutions.

Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Participate in strategic planning to drive the technological growth of the organization.

Required Skills And Qualifications

Expertise in AWS, Azure, and Cloud Network Design.

Proficiency in Network Architecture, Network Design, and Network Management.

Hands-on experience with VMware and enterprise-level systems.

Strong analytical and strategic-thinking abilities with the capacity to address both high-level architecture and intricate technical details.

Additional Insights

The role requires a balance of vision and execution. The Network Architect will dedicate about 75% of their efforts to future-oriented design, reengineering, enterprise-level alignment, and architecture strategy. The remaining 25% will involve troubleshooting and in-depth technical analysis.
