Job Description
CACI is seeking a Subject-Matter Expert Network and Voice Engineer to play a critical role in enabling command and control operations that support the mission of USSTRATCOM. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring robust, secure, and efficient network and voice communications that facilitate strategic decision-making and operational effectiveness. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities
- Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge
- Guides engineering of network, routing, and switching capabilities for enterprise voice/video/data networks
- Provides support and tech expertise in networking technology, including LAN/WAN hardware, switches, bridges, and routers
- Plans/implements secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal/external networks
- Works with vendors/Government/carriers/tech staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management
- Guides/performs design, build, configuration, test, and documentation tasks
- Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
- Plans and leads major technology assignments
- Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
- Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
- Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as required by mission needs
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering and voice communication systems, preferably in a military or government environment
- Required 8140 Cert: 651 - Intermediate; FITSP-D or GDSA or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP or GSEC; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in network and voice engineering tools and technologies
- Clearance Required Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is
$78,000 - $163,800
