The Network and Systems Support Administrator will assist in managing our network infrastructure, support server administration tasks, and contribute to our DevOps practices.

The Kind Of Work You’ll Be Doing

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Support the implementation of network security measure
• Support technology such as Cisco Networking, Palo Alto Firewalls, Infoblox, Wifi equipment, and conferencing equipment
• Help manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers
• Perform routine server maintenance, including backups and updates
• Assist in deploying applications and managing server environments
• Support technology such as VCenter, Domain Controllers, File Servers, Storage and Backup
• Collaborate with the development team to automate deployment processes
• Monitor application performance and assist in scaling infrastructure as needed
• Lead the activities of network-related projects or initiatives as needed to advance and complete related projects
• Serve as a mentor to others both inside and outside the department

Experience And Skills

• 4 year Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field from an accredited college or technical school.
• A minimum of 4 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certifications or Licenses required:
• CompTIA Network+
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
• Cisco CCNA(Preferred)
• PCNSE/PCNSA
