Network Infrastructure Specialist - 6-Month Project with 70% Travel Opportunity

Location: West Coast (Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada)


CDW is looking for a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join an exciting, hands-on 6-month project! This opportunity allows you to travel across the West Coast to participate in a critical network upgrade initiative. As an integral member of the team, you’ll assess, document, and help optimize the network infrastructure across multiple sites.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel across the West Coast (Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada) to perform on-site network assessments.
  • Survey and document current network topologies, including physical devices, configurations, and connectivity.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop strategies and recommendations for network upgrades and optimizations.

Required Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in IT support, networking, or infrastructure roles.
  • Strong knowledge of network hardware and technologies, including routers, switches, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), Wireless Access Controllers (WACs), data ports, cabling, and more.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Matterport for network site documentation.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Ekahau for network design and troubleshooting.
  • CCNA or CCNP certification is a plus.
