STONE Resource Group is representing a leading enterprise client seeking a Network Administrator for a hybrid position based in Reston, VA, with occasional support required at a data center in Ashburn, VA. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, ideal for a systems/network professional ready to take ownership of maintaining and optimizing a robust IT infrastructure.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise-wide systems including servers, operating systems, network hardware, and other infrastructure.
• Ensure secure and reliable system access, backups, and system recovery procedures.
• Support a variety of technologies including hardware, software, system security, and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or recommend appropriate solutions.
• Create, manage, and maintain detailed system documentation (configurations, backup procedures, etc.).
• Develop and deploy patches, updates, and software upgrades as needed.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and support of new hardware, software, and system enhancements.

✅ Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in a Systems or Network Administrator role.
• Solid working knowledge of:
• Operating systems (Windows/Linux)
• Networking hardware and software
• System backups, patches, and security protocols
• Strong troubleshooting skills across both system and network environments.
• Ability to document configurations and system changes clearly and effectively.
• Willingness and ability to support an on-call schedule and respond to the Ashburn data center as needed.
