The primary support responsibilities including: Administration of network management systems, monitoring network performance, switch and router installation, wiring closet management, and troubleshooting of network problems. * Administers network diagnosis and network management hardware, software, and related equipment. * Monitors and maintains network documentation, network material and supply inventories. * Responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and management reporting of communications network problems. * Utilizes software and hardware network management tools for problem isolation and resolution. * Installs network related hardware and software including network interface cards, switches, and routers. * Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Requirements * Bachelor's degree required. Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements * Requires good interpersonal skills and good organization skills. Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications * Experience supporting computer networks, network cabling, and network management software preferred.
