Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Network Administrator for an advanced technology infrastructure in
Austin, TX. This is a
hands-on role that involves
network installation, configuration, and maintenance in a high-demand environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise with
Cisco, Arista, and Aruba networking equipment as well as
WAN Accelerators and SDWAN technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer network infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Manage routing and switching in complex network environments.
- Support Data Center architectures and optimize WAN accelerators.
- Deploy and maintain SDWAN solutions with Cisco, Arista, and Aruba switches.
- Configure and manage Aruba Wireless networks and ensure optimal performance.
- Work with Silverpeak, SDWANRiverbed, and WAN Accelerator technologies to enhance network efficiency.
- Conduct network monitoring, troubleshooting, and security audits.
- Resolve hardware issues and perform quality assurance testing for network stability.
- Maintain cabling and port mapping for clear and efficient network pathways.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in network installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Proficiency with Cisco, Arista, and Aruba switches.
- Strong understanding of WAN accelerators, SDWAN technologies, and Data Center operations.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite five days a week in Austin, TX.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of Silverpeak, SDWANRiverbed, and WAN Accelerator technologies.
- Familiarity with Data Center architectures and multi-site deployments.
- Advanced skills in wireless networking (Aruba Wireless).
