Job Title: Netapp Storage Engineer - L1

Location: On-site, India

Role Responsibilities

• Perform Level 1 support for NetApp storage systems.
• Monitor performance metrics and system logs.
• Troubleshoot storage-related issues and escalate as necessary.
• Assist in the configuration and management of storage systems.
• Conduct regular system backups and ensure data integrity.
• Document and maintain records of technical configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on complex problems.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Assist in the provisioning of storage resources.
• Participate in routine maintenance and upgrades of storage systems.
• Help implement policies for data management and security.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Engage in training and development programs as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior experience with NetApp storage configurations is a plus.
• Basic understanding of storage networking protocols.
• Familiarity with data backup and recovery processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in storage environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Customer service-oriented with a focus on user satisfaction.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies is advantageous.
