Meet the Backend Team

Our Back End is massively scalable and is designed to handle huge amounts of data from thousands of concurrent users each day. It is the backbone of our frontend applications including our desktop application, web applications and mobile apps. As the newest Mid-level Back End Developer, you'll work on all the backend APIs and services that make up the core of LEAP. You will work closely with the backend team to help expand and improve all our backend applications.

What You'll Do

You will develop and maintain robust back-end applications and APIs using C# and .NET Core, building services that are scalable, secure, and efficient. You'll apply your strong understanding of AWS services and experience designing distributed systems that handle large volumes of data to co tnibute to an ambitious roadmap in transitioning soley to a web application.

To make this happen, you will

• Design and implement scalable and distributed systems to handle large-scale data processing.
• Integrate and optimize use of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS).
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Work closely with front-end developers, architects, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with strong adherence to best practices.
• Monitor and improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  
  

What you'll bring

Skills

You are a focused, motivated and hard-working developer who wants to join a fantastic growing team at a critical time and learn on the job to expand your skills. In addition to that you will bring:

• Strong proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems design, especially those handling large datasets or high-throughput data flows.
• Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes) is a plus.
