Job Overview:
We are growing our global presence and are excited to expand our newest technology hub in Guadalajara. As a .NET Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and optimizing logistics solutions within the TMW Suite platform. Collaborating with teams across the U.S., you'll work on enterprise-grade applications that power transportation and supply chain operations across North America.
What is TMW Suite?
TMW Suite is a leading Transportation Management System (TMS) developed by Trimble. It’s widely used across the logistics and freight industry in North America to manage dispatching, routing, planning, billing, and fleet operations. As part of our team, you’ll contribute to customizing and extending this mission-critical system to meet real-world business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and support software components in the TMW Suite environment using C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC
- Work in a distributed Agile team spanning Mexico and the U.S.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with UX, QA, Product Owners, and fellow Engineers to deliver high-impact solutions
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and team retrospectives
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both development and production environments
- Support continuous integration, test automation, and DevOps best practices
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core/MVC, REST APIs)
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles
- Experience with SQL Server and relational database design
- Exposure to front-end basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with version control systems (Git, TFS, or similar)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Docker, or microservices
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Eagerness to learn TMW Suite or transportation/logistics software
- Strong written and spoken English skills
