The Opportunity:
The purpose of the RSM is to create sustainable and profitable relationships with customers by helping them to succeed. The RSM is accountable for all sales activities, from lead generation through closing, in an assigned territory using a formal selling approach.
She/He will be responsible for identifying priority accounts and agreeing on strategies and tactics for high growth opportunities. The RSM will work closely with the distributors and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company business strategy. Together with the customer and other Avantor/VWR resources the RSM will further develop the business by analyzing customer needs; identifying solutions and building an individual customer solution plans.
THE OPPORTUNITY: Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing BioPharma sales team. Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands Avantor’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas. Manages a team within a discipline or department, typically comprised of career/intermediate professionals or Supervisors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: BS degree in Biological science/Biochemical/Bioengineering or general life science or relevant field
CERTIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 8 years sales experience.
- At least 3 years sales team management experience.
- Pharma or Biopharma business experience is a must.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong industry knowledge
- Proven successful leadership, team management and business development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate at all business levels
- Experience in account development and implementation
- Bilingualism in Mandarin/English both verbal and Written

HOW YOU WILL THRIVE AND CREATE AN IMPACT:
- Lead BPP BioPharma sales team to implement sales plan for effectively promoting and selling Avantor products by building up strong channel and maintaining good relationship with biopharma customers in China.
- Establish strong business relationship with our distributors and improve channel coverage for potential market in China.
- Lead BioPharma sales team to achieve sales and margin targets.
- Develop positive working relationships with all customer touch points.
- Lead BioPharma sales team to develop, train, manage and motivate our distribution channel on Avantor products and services.
- Work closely with various core functional groups within Avantor (including Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Application Lab etc.) to formulate and direct an effective team strategy to ensure business needs.
- Anticipate, coordinate and respond to competitive environment and initiatives.
