Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join DHL Supply Chain as the National Regulatory and Compliance Manager, based out at our Mangere site (Airport).

We require an individual who has 8+ years Quality Assurance, NZ Regulatory Affairs and Risk Management experience in a medium to large organisation. The preferred candidate will have personnel management experience as well as knowledge and appropriate experience to implement and audit Quality & Risk Management Systems, GMP environments, and Regulatory Compliance systems relating to MOH and MPI.

Reporting to the General Manager - Quality, your overall responsibility will be to implement the direction for the Quality & Regulatory Assurance function of the DHL Supply Chain Business, to remain world class as the industry leaders in quality.

Key accountabilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Maintaining compliance through achieving successful Life Science Healthcare client and Regulatory audits
  • Supporting Site projects and provide the QRA expertise to the project teams
  • Support and develop direct reports within validation and regulatory compliance teams
  • Management and strategic oversight of computer system validation, site validations, and packaging validation programs
  • Leading relationships with regulatory bodies and our compliance programme
  • Leading Internal audit programs, Supplier audit programs, Client audit programs, Certification/Regulatory audit programs.
  • Liaising with Regulatory Agencies and clients to project manage successful service provision and retention or attainment of the required licences and certificates
  • Implementing defined processes to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and local legal obligations
  • Acting as a key interface between the company and its external & internal customers
  • Implementing & maintaining the policies, systems, structures and practices that meet Regional Guidelines, Regulatory requirements, Certifications Standards, Licences, supporting the Company vision and values proposition that position DHL Supply Chain as being the Provider of Choice for our Customers
  • Ensuring DSC is compliant with external regulatory license, certifying and accrediting authorities ‘standards’ and protocols via Internal Audits.
  • Meeting the daily quality requirements of our clients


Ideally you would have a tertiary background in business or science, 8+ years in a Quality & Regulatory people management role with working experience in pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, life science and non-life science warehousing and logistics. You will have an interest in quality assurance, healthcare, and good manufacturing practices. You will also be extremely accurate and have a great eye for detail. Your great sense of humour; excellent interpersonal and communication skills will ensure you build strong relationships with internal and external customers. With a knack for agile problem solving, time management, meeting deadlines and prioritizing work will come naturally to you.

This position is based at our Auckland Airport site; however, you will need a driver’s licence and the flexibility to work across our sites in Auckland. Some travel to other sites in New Zealand will be required from time to time.
