🛒 Key Account Manager – Modern Trade

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Experience Required: 5–7 years in Modern Trade or related sectors

Industry: Home Appliances, Consumer Durables, Kitchenware

Reporting To: HEAD – Modern Trade

🔑 Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Account Management

• Build and manage relationships with key modern trade partners (e.g., Reliance, Croma, Metro, D-Mart).
• Negotiate and implement Joint Business Plans, trading terms, and visibility agreements.
• Drive account profitability while ensuring timely collections and account reconciliations.

2.Sales Growth & Business Development

• Achieve sales targets through channel-specific strategies.
• Collaborate with category managers and buyers to launch and promote new products.
• Monitor sales performance and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stockouts.

1. Merchandising & Execution

• Drive in-store execution of planograms, promotions, and visibility campaigns.
• Lead new store openings and ensure effective placement of Wonderchef products.
• Coordinate with retail staff and third-party merchandisers for product visibility.

3.Inventory Management

• Implement efficient stock planning strategies (pull/push models).
• Collaborate with supply chain for inventory forecasting and delivery.
• Ensure optimum inventory levels and minimal returns.

1. Analysis & Reporting

• Track and analyze sales data, trends, and consumer behavior.
• Provide actionable insights and timely reports to senior management.
• Contribute to planning monthly and quarterly business reviews.

5.Customer Relationship Management

• Maintain strong and proactive relationships with retail partners.
• Act as a point of contact for escalations, disputes, and issue resolution.
• Provide value-added solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

🎯 Preferred Background

• Proven experience in managing large-format retail chains in the home appliances space.
• Exposure to premium kitchen appliances is an advantage.
• Prior experience working with brands like Prestige, Philips, Havells, Usha, Bajaj, Hawkins, etc., is desirable.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and data analysis skills.

💰 Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: Up to ₹25 LPA (based on experience and capability)
