Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a National Dispatcher located in North Arlington, NJ. The National Dispatcher will be responsible for managing and coordinating transportation schedules, dispatching drivers, handling client inquiries, and ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. The role involves monitoring vehicle locations, addressing issues real-time, maintaining records, and communicating effectively with managers and drivers to ensure a high level of service.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing transportation schedules and dispatch operations
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle client inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Proficiency in using dispatch software and tracking systems
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues real-time
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or transportation is beneficial
